A LAT Decision is Music to Our Ears: Out-of session services deemed reasonable and necessary!
Out-of-session services such as brokerage, documentation support activity and forms completion fees were deemed reasonable and necessary in complex catastrophic injury case. We’re thrilled to see that counsel for the applicant were Roger R. Foisy, ORA Premium Supporter, associates Harpreet S. Sidhu and Daniel Berman, with paralegal Rusald Laloshi. Congrats to them, the applicant and the health service providers Entwistle Power Occupational Therapy and Genesis Community Rehabilitation Inc.

Help Shape the Future: Take this Survey
The ORA is assisting the Coalition of Health Professions in Auto Insurance (the Coalition) with distribution of a survey on access to care for motor vehicle accident victim claimants in Ontario. Its purpose is to gain the input of HSPs who assess and/or treat MVA injuries on issues and solutions for improving access to medical, rehabilitation, and attendant care benefits in Ontario’s auto insurance sector.
Please take 15-20 minutes to share your thoughts - by August 16 - the data gathered will assist all of us in our advocacy for changes needed.
