'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the House
No politicians were stirring, not even a mouse
MPPs were back home, still blaming the feds
While greenbelts and science centres danced in their heads
Hanukkah candles were done for year
Kwanzaa celebrations were getting in gear
And through these days of dwindling light
ORA elves work on making things right
We’re pursuing PSG meetings for 2024
(Hoping that future years will find us less poor)
And recruiting Supporters for the coming new year

Not all is binary, as elves surely know
And just as sleet is neither rain nor snow
Folks can’t be neatly sorted into naughty or nice
